Nudge — Habit Tracker · Effective February 10, 2026
Nudge stores all habit data on your device and, if you choose to enable iCloud, in your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. The developer has no access to your data at any time.
Nudge does not track you. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party services embedded in the app.
We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. Specifically:
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Nudge uses Apple's CloudKit private database to sync your habits across your devices. This data is encrypted by Apple and stored in your personal iCloud account. The developer cannot read, access, or decrypt this data.
Nudge can optionally read data from Apple Health to auto-complete habits when health goals are met. Supported data includes step count, workout minutes, mindful minutes, and Activity Ring status. This data is read directly on your device and is never collected, transmitted, or stored outside of the app. Nudge does not write any data to Apple Health. Health data access requires your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time in Settings.
All notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification servers are involved. Notification preferences are stored locally using UserDefaults.
The backup and restore feature exports data to a local JSON file on your device. These files remain under your control and are never uploaded to any external server.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. The app does not collect data today and there are no plans to change that.
